Photo Rules (For "Trains in the Cedar
Valley/Eastern Iowa")
The idea behind this section is to give viewers an idea of
what is usually seen in the area.
1: Photo must fit into one of the
categories on the site.
(Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Iowa Northern, Eastern Iowa, and
Past)
2: Photos must be of good quality, clear
and somewhat artistic (Not roster shots).
Good example,
Bad example
3: Photos must be submitted with AT LEAST
800pixel width.
If you wish to do you own cropping that is fine just keep
the width above 800px/72DPI
4: Just because you send a photo doesn't
mean it will be used right away..
(It depends on how badly we need photos for that section..
i.e. pretty much any Pre 1980 photos would make it onto the "Past" section until
it fills up..)
5. Submitted photos are subject to
rotation..
If another "good" photo comes along at or near the same
location it could be used.
6. Information about the photo.
I would prefer as much information as you can supply, but
at a minimum your name (for credit), location and approx. date)
